The practice information system curaMED makes fast and intuitive work of administrative tasks for psychiatrists and psychologists, leaving more time to focus on patients.

“It was the whole package – the price and the performance – that impressed me,” says Olaf Hentrich. Hentrich, a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy at the AMEOS city practice in Sursee, uses the curaMED practice information system.
Easy administration
“curaMED has many useful features that make my administrative work easier,” he says. Keeping well-structured medical records is made easy, which shortens his preparation time for a consultation.
What’s more, he can prescribe medication directly from curaMED and benefit from a real-time interaction check beforehand. He can also easily share the full medical record with the psychologists he works with.
Intuitive and self-explanatory
Oliwia Cacciatori, project coordinator for the AMEOS city practices and former MPA, also likes things to be straightforward. “For me, modern working is when I can get to where I want to go quickly and with just a few clicks.”
curaMED enables her to work quickly. “It’s a very intuitive and self-explanatory practice information system that guides you well.” She doesn’t even have to explain much to new employees. “They quickly figure it out for themselves.”
The hotline is a big plus
Appointments can be easily entered into the schedule, active and inactive medication plans can be viewed and various evaluations can be created. “And if I can’t get something to work, I call the hotline.” Another big advantage: “I never have to wait long. The hotline team is quick, good at what they do and friendly.”
More time to focus on the patients
This essentially means being able to work intuitively and quickly, as Olaf Hentrich puts it: “A patient leaves, I turn around for a moment, quickly take care of all the administrative tasks and can immediately attend to the next patient. This leaves me more time to focus on the patients themselves.”

Outpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy are offered at the AMEOS city practices. Six psychiatry specialists, 15 psychologists and 5 MPAs work at the AMEOS city practices in Lucerne, Sursee, Zug and Zurich.
