Promotion conditions
When you take out a new Protect & Connect user licence or activate beemNet with an existing Protect & Connect user licence, you will receive access to beemNet free of charge for a period of two months (worth CHF 5 per month). For the first two months, you will only pay for the Protect & Connect user license. From the third month onwards, you will be charged an additional fee for access to beemNet. There is no minimum term of contract for access to beemNet. This offer is valid until 31 May 2026. It may be combined with other promotions, however, it can only be applied once per Protect & Connect user licence agreement. The minimum term of contract for the Protect & Connect user license is 24 months, and the activation fee is CHF 55.41. All prices in CHF excl. 8.1% VAT (rounded).

Please note that the period is calculated on the basis of the active (non-suspended) days.
Additional conditions when purchasing a discounted device:
- If the customer benefits from a device discount from Swisscom as part of a mobile contract, they cannot switch to a subscription with a lower monthly charge for free for at least 6 months.
- Should the customer nevertheless wish to switch to a lower-priced subscription within the first 6 months of receiving the device discount, they will be charged CHF 185.01 (price excluding 8.1% VAT).
- You can switch to a subscription with a higher monthly charge for free at any time.
Conditions for Protect & Connect user licences with mobile subscriptions currently on the market.
General:
- With Protect & Connect user licenses, you cannot switch to a subscription with a lower monthly charge for free within the first 30 days of signing the contract. This period also applies after switching to a subscription with a higher monthly charge.
- Should the customer nevertheless wish to switch to a lower-priced subscription within the first 30 days of signing the contract, they will be charged CHF 138.76 (price excluding 8.1% VAT).
- You can switch to a subscription with a higher monthly charge for free at any time.
Fair Use Policy
Use on multiple devices
For simultaneous use of the user licence on multiple devices, the maximum number of simultaneously active devices is set within 24 hours (GMT/UTC time frame). The number of included or separately purchased devices determines the upper limit.
Data usage
Connections are provided for the normal, business-typical and average private communications traffic of business customers. Excessive use is deemed to exist if the following monthly limits for connections with an unlimited data allowance are exceeded (any additional data packages purchased are not taken into account):
- National data volume in excess of 60 GB; except for connections with Data Option advanced.
- For connections with active Data Option advanced: National data volume greater than 280 GB on average across all connections of the customer with active Data option advanced.
- Roaming data volume in excess of 40 GB;
- National voice communication in excess of 10,000 minutes;
- International and roaming voice communication in excess of 2,500 minutes;
- More than 10,000 SMS messages.
The following are considered improper use (list not exhaustive):
- Onward transfer of Swisscom's services by the customer to third parties or for other purposes, e.g. by reselling or using the connections for GSM gateways;
- Except for connections with active Data Option advanced: use of the connections for machine-to-machine, direct dial and permanent connections, monitoring applications or static use;
- Breaches of contract and violations of applicable law;
- Behavior that is potentially capable of causing damage to third parties or Swisscom;
- Exclusively using connections outside of Switzerland;
Swisscom may, at its discretion, monitor the customer’s usage behaviour at the individual connection level (connection/telephone number with all associated (e)SIMS) with regard to the types of traffic included in the subscription. Swisscom reserves the right to inform the customer and/or respective user of the excessive or improper use and, at the same time, take appropriate action to prevent the excessive or improper use of the affected connections, throttle the data transmission speed, discontinue service provision or restrict the maximum data allowance.

What is the difference between a user licence and a mobile subscription?
A mobile subscription directly connects devices to the Internet via the mobile network.
A beem user licence gives employees access to beemNet and thus a secure gateway to the Internet that protects them and their devices against phishing, malware and other cyberthreats. Furthermore, user licences are not restricted to SIM-enabled devices; they can connect PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones to beemNet, regardless of which mobile network or WLAN they are connected to. The user licences also enable secure access to company data and business applications, for both employees and business partners.
Our mobile subscriptions are an integral part of the beem Protect & Connect user licences and are available in various versions; for example, Swiss or Europe. When using devices on the Swisscom mobile network, employees with a Protect & Connect user licence are automatically connected to beemNet rather than the public Internet – without having to install or activate anything.
