The minimum contractual term for a mobile subscription is 12 months. Therefore, if you want to cancel your mobile subscription within 12 months of signing or renewing your contract, you will be liable for the remaining monthly charges until the end of the minimum contract or extension period.
Upon expiry of the minimum contract period, you can cancel the contract under observance of a 2-month period of notice.

Your mobile contract can instead be put on hold(opens in new tab) for up to 12 months. This allows you to hold onto your mobile number and, following reactivation, continue to use your subscription as normal.
