The ICT sector has traditionally been dominated by men. Sometimes it takes courage to introduce the female perspective into discussions and projects, and to position yourself as a woman.
I studied IT and telecommunications in Russia and today, as a Scrum Master, I remove obstacles so that our team can work as effectively as possible, without disruptions. In my spare time, I head the Women in Tech & Lead community, where women from all areas of Swisscom meet who might otherwise never have any contact with each other. The community provides inspiration and networking, while at the same time being a safe haven where women can present their ideas and obtain feedback – for example if they want to develop a new tool, concept or project. This exchange is very helpful for our work and personal development.
