Portrait Gaëlle Labache

“Never fear the unknown.”

In my work, I rely on collective intelligence – a project team is made up of people with important insights and considerable expertise, and they are the people best placed to make decisions.

Geneva, Bern, Zurich: I travel frequently throughout Switzerland, visiting the teams that I support. Continuous improvement is part and parcel of agile working and is very important to me. We are currently in the process of setting up a new IP platform for Swisscom. It is an ambitious project, where every detail counts. I see myself as a bridge builder, someone who breaks down barriers, brings people together and helps them unleash their full potential. Wife, mother, originally from France and under 40 in an important IT-based role – Swisscom supports my continued professional development and enables me to breathe new life into old structures. Diversity is important to me and in my team I look for people who are open to doing things differently. Change begins with the right mindset.
