Ready for everything digital life has to offer with Swisscom’s new prepaid packages, which can be extended flexibly and without limitation and give young people more for the same price. In addition, from today, we are now offering three flat rates – ideal for tourists and short-term residents in Switzerland or for customers who want a flat rate with no commitments.
In recent years, customer requirements in the prepaid sector have altered significantly. In particular, there has been a rapid rise in mobile data use and an increasing demand for unlimited data allowance. The new prepaid portfolio is therefore modelled on the inOne range of products and has been seamlessly integrated into the existing range, offering unlimited, flexible packages tailored to customers’ needs. There is a package for everyone, whether you’re an infrequent or frequent user, a young person or you own a second mobile.
The new inOne mobile prepaid go is a particularly attractive addition to the standard prepaid offering (basic tariff 0.–). Customers pay just five francs for 30 days of Internet and network access, giving them unlimited surfing, Messenger messages, e-mails, access to timetables and calendar updates throughout Switzerland. In other words, the all-new inOne mobile prepaid go with inclusive flat-rate data (128 kbit/s) allows the use of basic Internet functions in Switzerland. In addition, it includes unlimited SMS/MMS within Switzerland and from Switzerland to other countries at no extra cost.
The new prepaid portfolio also offers additional telephony and data usage options and packages for Switzerland and abroad that can be added on a flexible basis. For the first time, three different flat rates are available for tourists, short-term residents and customers who do not wish to be tied to a contract (lasting 7/30/90 days). In addition, all prepaid customers can now enjoy the benefits of 5G technology. The 24h Speed+ option is available if you want to take advantage of maximum speed. “Thanks to the new packages, our customers are ready for everything that digital life has to offer,” says Michel Siegenthaler, Head of Offers & Marketing at Swisscom. “A tailored package is now available to virtually any customer who does not wish to be tied to a subscription, whatever their needs.”
inOne mobile prepaid young (formerly kids) is now even more attractive: children and young people (up to the age of 18) can enjoy 30 days’ unlimited surfing throughout Switzerland for CHF 9.90 (including 500 MB high speed) and can make unlimited calls in Switzerland to up to five Swisscom phone numbers. Unlimited SMS and MMS are still also included. All existing customers will be migrated to the new package within a month, giving them better service for the same price. Customers do not have to do anything and will be informed by SMS once the migration is complete.
In addition, functions such as SIM, VoLTE and WiFi Calling are now available to prepaid customers with an appropriate device. Furthermore, unsolicited calls can now be blocked with the Callfilter feature.
