Set up a myCloud account, log in via the web or download the Desktop or Mobile App, save photos, videos and files, organise and share via Transfer.
Register with your free Swisscom login to connect to your myCloud. You can then store your files, documents, photos and videos securely and access them from all devices. Not sure if you already have a myCloud account?(opens in new tab)
Download the app for your mobile phone or your computer to use myCloud straight from your devices. The app connects your devices directly with the online storage, so your personal files are always synced.
To download the myCloud Mobile App, open this page on your mobile phone.
Scan the QR code with your smartphone to download the app directly from the App Store or Google Play.
Activate the “Automatic Backup” function so that new photos and videos on your phone are continuously backed up to your Cloud storage. You choose if you want to sync photos and/or videos and other albums on your mobile phone.
Please note that your data is only continuously backed up if your mobile device is connected to the Internet.
To check which photos and videos on your mobile phone are already in your myCloud and which are missing, proceed as follows:
The myCloud Desktop App connects your computer directly to your online storage. Everything you place in the new folder is stored locally on your device.
With WebDav, you access your data online. The files are automatically saved on the mycloud.ch servers and don't take up any of your computer’s memory. You can see your myCloud files directly in File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS) and edit them there, so you can access the latest version of your data from anywhere.
Selective synchronisation of the myCloud Desktop App lets you choose the folders you want to sync with your computer separately on each device. How it works:
You can send photos, videos and files that you have uploaded to your myCloud quickly and easily to someone else.
You can upload larger files free of charge via myCloud Transfer and share them with someone else. Neither you nor the recipient need a myCloud login for this. Once the upload is complete, you will receive a download link that you can send to the recipient. Uploading is only available to customers in Switzerland although customers in other countries can also download files.
Want to send a file that exceeds the maximum attachment size of 15 MB? You can attach the required file as a link to your e-mails via a separate shared window directly in Bluewin e-mail. This saves on storage in the inbox for you and the recipient. The recipient does not need a myCloud account to download the content or add new content.
To find your photos quickly, you can use the filter function or search for the photos in the timeline by the date they were taken or by using the “Places” function. This lets you find the location you took your photo using a map. You can organise your photos and videos in albums to make it easier. If you can't find files or folders, you can use the search function (magnifying glass symbol in the top right-hand corner) or look in the recycle bin.
When you delete a photo or video, it disappears completely from the album and from the photo area. The contents are moved to the recycle bin where they can be permanently deleted. If you have deleted files in error, you have 30 days to recover them.
The myCloud computer backup automatically and continuously backs up folders and files that you have stored locally on your computer or a connected external hard drive. If you lose your computer, you can restore your backup to a new computer or recover accidentally deleted files. You can also back up multiple devices, allowing you to access your backed-up computer data from anywhere, even with your smartphone or tablet.
Deleted/overwritten files are sent to the archive instead of the recycle bin. This means you can still restore your archived data for a year.
Once you have installed the myCloud Desktop App, you can launch it and log in with your myCloud account. Proceed as follows to create your first computer backup:
The best way is to download your photos from your myCloud account mycloud.ch(opens in new tab). You can select individual photos as well as entire months or albums for download and then click “Download”. If you want to download lots of photos at once, we recommend doing this in sections.
All data is stored on Swisscom servers in Switzerland and in four different secure data centres. Even the failure of an entire data centre would not lead to a loss of data if we ever experienced technical problems. These precautions mean that your data is always safely stored on your myCloud storage. All the data you store on our myCloud servers is subject to Swiss data protection laws(opens in new tab).
Log in to My Swisscom. You can enter your mobile phone number there and activate “Secure authentication in 2 steps” (2-factor authentication). Your data is then better protected, and you will be requested to provide an SMS code as well as your username and password. The code is sent to your registered mobile phone number.
Regulation of digital estates is becoming increasingly important. In principle, every customer should keep the access data for their online activities (Facebook, Swisscom myCloud, e-mail addresses, etc.) in a safe place and ensure that a trusted person knows where the data is stored. If a deceased Swisscom customer has not made arrangements for this, their heirs will be given access to the requested data after presenting the death certificate and certificate of inheritance.
Please contact the regular Swisscom support at 0800 800 800 or via web.
When subscribing to myCloud, the system checks the possibility of paying via Swisscom invoice. If the Swisscom Login used for myCloud is not linked to your main Swisscom user account where you have active contracts, then it will not be possible to offer Swisscom billing as a payment method. Always make sure that you use myCloud with the Swisscom Login you use to pay your bills.
