What is a SIM lock?
Some older smartphones have an automatic SIM lock set up when you buy them. This SIM lock ensures that the smartphone only accepts SIM cards from specific providers.

Removing SIM locks
The last devices with a SIM lock were sold around 10 years ago. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide unlock codes for these older devices.
What you can do
Order a smartphone without a SIM lock. You can then decide for yourself how you use your mobile phone.
Continue to use your mobile phone with a Swisscom SIM. If you no longer need it, you can dispose of it without charge in a Swisscom Shop.
