FAQs

By logging in, you will receive a personal assessment of your connection. My Swisscom can then, for example:

  • Check your line and router
  • automatically detect typical errors
  • directly suggest solutions

Without logging in, you will only see the general situation in your region.

No. A fault or maintenance work in the region indicates that there may be restrictions in the area. Your own connection may still be working perfectly. Once you are logged in, you can see whether your connection is specifically affected or not.

My Swisscom provides you with a guided analysis(opens in new tab). Among other things, this helps you with:

  • Problems with your router or Internet connection
  • unstable or slow Wi-Fi
  • Swisscom TV outages
  • Connection problems with the mobile network or SIM

This often allows you to resolve interruptions in a matter of minutes without having to call.

In this case, the cause is often local to you. Check the following in order:

  • whether the router is switched on and all relevant lights are displaying normally
  • whether the Wi-Fi is connected
  • whether the device needs to be restarted
  • whether the cables and connections are plugged in correctly

You can get support in My Swisscom via the
personal analysis(opens in new tab) and on the help pages with specific instructions for your devices.
