Which questions are you asked daily?

Customers need help to set up their e-mail account, install a printer or because they’ve received an error message. The topics are very varied.


How do you solve customers’ problems?

If I can, I access the customer’s PC per remote maintenance. Customers are amazed when they see me controlling their mouse and intervening directly for the first time. They can sit back and watch me solve the problem.

Do you recall a particularly tricky case?

No, nothing specific. But it happens all the time, just when I think I’m close to finding the solution – something unexpected suddenly turns up. That can be quite a challenge. Then customers are all the happier when I hit on the solution – and so am I.


What do you enjoy most about your job?

The variety of the cases that I deal with every day. And the sincere gratitude of our customers. A lot of the time it’s just a little thing, but one that has brought customers to the brink before they come to us.


Do you have a hot tip for our readers?

The importance of Internet security is often underestimated. Many people think they’re too unimportant to be the target of data misuse. But it's vital to use secure passwords, update your virus protection regularly and always perform operating system updates. It’s not possible to ensure one hundred percent security, but these few steps can reduce the risks.
