Clean up Bluewin E-Mail account 

Show storage space

In Webmail, you can see how much storage space you are currently using (old Webmail: Settings  E-mail  top right; new Webmail: on the left below the folder list).

Free up storage space

If your storage space is full, you will not be able to send or receive any more e-mails. To free up storage space, delete the e-mails that you have sent or received or switch to a higher e-mail subscription.

To avoid losing important e-mails, save them locally.

Delete e-mails

  1. Log into Webmail(opens in new tab) with your Swisscom Login.   
  2. Select the required e-mail account. 
  3. Check your inbox and other folders for e-mails that you no longer need. Delete them by clicking on the recycle bin.   
  4. Empty your recycle bin.   

Note: E-mails deleted from the recycle bin are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.  

  1. Open your e-mail program on your device (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail). 
  2. Check your inbox and other folders for e-mails that you no longer need. Delete them by clicking on the recycle bin.   
  3. Empty your recycle bin.   

Note: E-mails deleted from the recycle bin are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.  

If you set up Bluewin E-Mail with the POP3 Server, you need to free up storage space in Webmail.
